“Bank of Baku”’s next social action: “Let’s plant trees and protect the nature!

In the framework of corporative social responsibility policy, “Bank of Baku” implemented wide-scale tree-planting action in Binagadi district. During the action held under “the nature needs us” slogan, employees of “Bank of Baku” planted hundred trees. Tree planting action was held with the support of Binagadi Executive Power on the area near “Darnagul” metro station.

Hundred trees from Pinus Eldarica subspecies were planted in the course of ecological action. Pinus Eldarica is very famous for good adaptation to and fast-spreading in Baku and Absheron environment. This subspecies is recognized for a matchless ability it has for ecology by absorption of carbon dioxide and provision of oxygen.

Bank’s management and up to hundred employees were involved into this action. Zaur Garaisayev, the Deputy Chairman of Executive Board of “Bank of Baku” made a speech in the event and stated that expansion of live nature massive in Baku and Absheron requires attention, care and planned activity. “During recent years authorities has been systematically working on this. In my opinion, private sector shall also provide its support for such actions. For this very reason, “Bank of Baku” has decided to hold such an ecological action”.

Aygun Aliyeva, Deputy Head of Binagadi Executive Power, participated in this event. Aygun Aliyeva delivered speech and provided information about “Tamiz Binagadi” social project and appreciated the participation in such tree-planting actions and a support to project.

As “Bank of Baku” pays key attention to social responsibility, it is planning to hold new social and ecological actions from now forth.
