Thousands of children join social action by Bank of Baku!

People living in the century of technologies spend their time mostly on the internet, social networks, mobile games and other virtual systems. Of course, all the above shown have become inseparable part of our lives in this technology development period. However, for this very reason we are unable to contribute enough time for our children.

Bank of Baku, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary, realized wide-scale social action on June 1, International Children’s Protection Day. Social action under “Spare more time not with the telephone, but with your children” slogan was held in three cities (Baku, Ganja, Sumgait) of Azerbaijan. The purpose of the action was not only providing the children with the opportunity to play and entertain but also encouraging the parents to spend most part of their leisure time with their children.

Thousands of children joined this event. The participation was unrestricted and free of charge. This event was held under full financial support by Bank of Baku. Special “Cities of Tales” were staged for children on the main squares and parks of cities. There the children participated in Benjamin show, incredible tricks, foaming soap show, lego games, watched the performances of clowns, magicians, jongleur and played different games. Children enjoyed this event organized by Bank of Baku. Children were distributed special gifts and balloons in the event. Children who joined the action spent good and memorable time during a few hours. Small residents of Baku, Ganja and Sumgait left the party with joy and satisfaction.

“June 1” event was a planned action from the range of corporative social responsibly events to be held by Bank of Baku in 2014 and the Bank is planning to continue such charity actions.
