SMS Banking allows the Bank of Baku OJSC cardholders to monitor their card accounts and perform various transactions on these accounts.
Service advantages:
- SMS-notification to the cardholder about transactions performed on the card account,
- receiving information on the current card account balance,
- blocking the card,
- unblocking the card,
- obtaining a card account statement for the last 10 transactions.

The SMS text for various transactions is composed in the below manner and sent to *8145 short number:
- initial text: BALANCE (to get information on the current balance), BLOCK (to block the payment card), UNBLOCK (to unblock the payment card), and STATE (to receive a card account statement for the last 10 transactions),
- space,
- the first 4 digits of the card number used for the transaction,
- the ‘%’ sign,
- the last 4 digits of the card number used for the transaction,
For example: The customer composes the text ‘Balance 6473%7430’ and sends it to *8145. The 6473 xxxx xxxx 7430 cardholder performing this transaction wishes to receive information about the current card account balance.
The cardholder who has composed the text ‘BLOCK 5473%4646’ and sent it to *8145 will block the payment card.
