On March 6 “Bank of Baku” held a “Career Day” in the Caucasus University. This event, which was pursuing the purpose of delivering career related information to students, was attended by a large number of participants. “Career Day” was held as a part of implementation of an agreement signed last year between “Bank of Baku” and the Caucasus University. Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of “Bank of Baku”, Zaur Garaisayev, speaking at the event, noted that being a fast developing financial institution, “Bank of Baku” has a need for new, professional staff members. From such a perspective, university graduates and youth are of special interest for the Bank. Zaur Qaraisayev mentioned that shortly the “Accounting and Audit Laboratory” of “Bank of Baku” will start its activities in the Caucasus University. It was also stated that “Bank of Baku” establishes a special stipends programs for the students of the Caucasus University. The stipend will be awarded to students selected upon criteria to be developed jointly by the Bank and the University.
Further, the Dean of the Economics and Management Faculty of the Caucasus University, Hazi Eynalov noted that the primary goals were achieving the use of the knowledge and experience of the Bank within the University, and engaging the students of the University to the activities of the Bank.
During the “Career Day” representatives of the Bank answered questions from students. From information placed on boards within the University, students could get information on opportunities for the employment within the Bank, terms of employment, benefits of working for the Bank and other matters of interest. Representatives of “Bank of Baku” provided detailed responses to various questions from students of the Caucasus University.
“Bank of Baku” and the Caucasus University are efficiently cooperating for many years by now. In November of last year, the two parties signed a formal cooperation agreement. The main purpose of the document is to achieve the use of the knowledge and experience of the Bank within the University, and to engage the students of the University to the activities of the Bank.
“Bank of Baku” is planning to continue its efforts to expand cooperation with other educational establishments of our country.
